Southlake math & reading is the game changer for my children’s learning. The staff is what makes this places amazing. They are kind, patient and understanding. They make learning fun and are great keeping my kids on task. My children loving going and would recommend Southlake math & reading to anyone looking to improve or advance their children’s learning.

Thought I would write a review since there hasn’t been a recent one. This may be long but as a parent of 2 kids, information is helpful.
Dr. D and Darin are great at helping kids get up to speed and ahead.
At times, yes they do get busy but they will answer and take the time to explain the process. Trust the process, do the work. Let the child do the work and if they fail. It’s okay, they will try again until it’s known. We started with and the kids get the math facts down. The math then evolves to subtracting, adding… In one year we went from slow at math facts to starting some division. This included learning the multiplication.

For my younger one, at age 5. She did not know the letter names. That was my oversight, knew the sounds but they also need to know the names. Also in less than a school year. She went from learning the letters to now spelling simple words. Sounding them out, not just memorizing sight words. Is also starting to read small books. Like the Bob books.

This is just the general learning they have done. It was challenging at first and it would be a struggle when learning something new. This school year has been a complete improvement for us, we are all caught up.

Yes, not all kids learn the same nor do they need the same thing. Which is why talking to them on what the child needs helps. It’s not a concrete lesson plan. The help changes as the kids changed.

My elder who is 16 started Gideon at her early stage and Gedion had made her foundation strong. Now my younger one has also started Gedion maths and reading and shown good improvement. I surely recommend parents for Gedion at coppell.

I am extremely pleased with the progress of both of my daughters during the past 7 months in Gideon. Gideon has amazing tutors. My son got very good grade in math and reading . They always help for rescheduling classes if kids missed and helping to solve kids issues and queries. Staff is showing right path to parents and kids . Overall Gideon is the best place for kids to improve academic performance.

Absolutely thrilled I decided to put my son through this program despite the fact that it is so far from home. Phenomenal improvement in his grades & confidence. His ability to tackle challenging problems with ease has increased in leaps & bounds. Neha, Kavita & all the teachers here care about the kids and do their best to help them.
Would really love it if they opened another center in Frisco but until then we will be making the trip to Prosper 🙂

We enrolled our 2 little boys (kinder & 1st grade) to this Gideon around a year ago. I saw a lot of improvement in their math and reading because at first i was worried because the teacher told me that he's behind at school. Ms.Divya has been very helpful, sweet and kind to us. Plus she can also be very flexible with the schedules (which i like it so much). It means a lot to me seeing my boys' progress day after day and their excitement to learn math & reading although some days could be challenging. So I wanna thank you and express my high appreciation to Ms.Divya & the team for everything you do to help our boys Flynn & Hayden. We really wish you all the best and success for the future.

My son is in 3 rd grade and started going to Southlake math and reading more than six months ago. He has improved greatly in reading and math skills. Most importantly he has homework to do all year round so he is always reading and doing math problems whether school is open or closed. The teachers are very professional and communicate with us to help him keep improving on his learning. Victor the owner is exceptional and cares about the kids’ success as his own children. We hope to keep our son at this center as long as possible:).

I'm glad to find the North Mckinney Gideon tuition center when we moved to Texas last year. I was worried when we moved here and got to know that the standards are higher than where we moved from. And within 3 months in Gideon, he covered all the topics and he got higher scores in the 7th grade map tests. My Son improved his confidence in both Math and English and we keep continuing from there after. I liked the curriculum, teaching, and caring. It is fantastic, especially how much they care about each child.

We have been coming to Gideon for the past 4 year and absolutely love it. Our boys are always excited to go and we have seen a tremendous improvement in both math and reading. We love Ms. Lisa who always greets us with the happiest smile and is so welcoming.

I wanted to share my experience with Gideon- Mrs. Nejah the owner of facility has exceeded my expectations ten fold. My son has improved 3 grade levels in a little less than a year. Our son wasn’t getting challenged enough in math and was falling behind in reading/comprehension. He’s been going to Gideon twice per month for almost a year and we’ve noticed a huge improvement. He’s in the 3rd grade but his math is at about a 7th grade level and his reading is almost at a 5th grade level. We will definitely continue our routine of twice per month to keep him ahead in school. And he actually loves the challenge he gets at Gideon. We’re grateful for the owner, Neha and her personal relationship with the kids, she is gifted and a natural nurturer.

The stuffs are very friendly and they are trying hard to help my daughter catch up her grade level because they were concerned about her low grades and possible failure. They are very understanding and they care for the successes of the students. I am very happy to find a great learning center for my daughter. Her school teacher noticed her improvement and she congratulated on her hard work and perseverance. I was very sad before for her if she had to repeat her school level but now I am so grateful and thankful to Guideon she has a good chance to go next school level next summer. We have been with Gideon over a year and a half and we love the difference it has made in our child. The program and the curriculum is amazing. Most of the work books are timed which I liked which brought in a sense of accountability in my child. I can see my child doing math calculations in his mind in an instance. We also saw his focus improve tremendously. It’s an owner operated facility so the kids get a lot of special attention too. I definitely recommend Gideon.

My son started with Gideon a year ago and was a full grade level behind on Reading and Math. His latest MAP tests showed he is now on grade level and had massive improvement in his scores. Average point increase is 5-7, his increase was over 20 points! The staff is great and very encouraging which has really helped his self esteem!

I noticed my daughter was behind on reading when I went to her classroom to volunteer and listened to other kids read. As much as I had practiced with her at home every night , I knew it would not be enough to get her to same level as her classmates. I was referred to the Prosper Gideon by a friend and her recommendation did not steer me wrong. This center is adaptable to schedule , has great tutors that are attentive and progress is made every week with each student. We have been here at Gideon since October 2022 and my daughter has progressed so much . She is no longer scared to pick up a book and read out loud, her pronunciation has improved and I am very pleased with the results. Thank you Gideon Prosper !

I decided a couple of months ago to sign up My daughter to Gideon because she needed a bit of help with math and reading. After the first month, I saw a Humongous difference! I love the confidence my daughter has now and how she loves to help her classmates. Her school teacher even asked me what is Maya doing because she saw a huge improvement in her. What a Blessing Prosper Gideon has been for my son. Being new to Texas and starting high school, the struggle was real in the beginning.
Ms.Neha and the Staff have been super supportive in helping my son. The small group and individual session have help tremendously ! My son’s geometry grade has improved along with his other core classes. He actually looks forward to going to Gideon to stay ahead of his classmates. The college SAT prep was helpful during the summer, giving him tools to use in all his classes.
I appreciate the flexible times and accommodation offered at Prosper Gideon. High school students have busy schedules, but the Gideon Team is alway accommodating to make time for the students. I am also Thankful for communication given to the parents. Weekly, I am given a status update or areas of concern.
By far Prosper Gideon has been a great investment for my son’s education.

Back story before we were so blessed to find Gideon in Prosper -
In an attempt to keep it short, last year our twin 5 year old boys went through several changes their Kindergarten year and had to switch Elementary schools and Kindergarten teachers 3 times after we sold our home in Frisco, waiting for our new home in Windsong Ranch to be built.

We were completely blessed with one of our boys Kindergarten teacher once we move into our forever home - she was absolutely amazing and truly cared for our son’s well-being and advancement. It was obvious and infectious to both our son and to us as parents.

Unfortunately, we had several issues with our other son’s Kinder teacher including lack of empathy, communication skills, compassion, etc. which caused a huge shift in his passion to learn, grow and thrive. This absolutely broke our hearts.

Fast forward to the same week school ended, my husband and I knew something needed to change and we needed to find a place where both of our boys could continue learning throughout the summer and our sweet son would find his passion to learn, grow and thrive again. We made an appointment at Gideon after one of our friends highly recommended this center and location. We will never forget this day- it was the same evening of the last day of school. We were walking in and our son who had a really poor experience with his last teacher during his Kinder year broke down in tears in the parking lot refusing to go inside for fear his former Kinder teacher would be there telling him what all he did wrong. It was definitely a struggle to get him inside as this was new behavior for him and extremely hard for us to experience. Somehow, we finally managed to get him to go inside and boy did it change our lives forever!

Now… insert NEHA!!! I literally cannot even put it into words what she did in just 30 minutes with our son. We were lucky enough to witness this first hand and immediately signed up without hesitation.

Neha showed our boys (especially the one who needed it the very most) patience, kindness, compassion, praise, understanding, love and dedication. She was so sweet with him- she knows exactly what she’s doing. She immediately knew what he was missing and zeroed in on it right away.

He literally walked out of there a new little boy excited to start this program and we couldn’t be more grateful for Neha that day and every day since then. She is ALWAYS available and in fact she will go out of her way outside work hours to communicate with you on your child’s progress. She is absolutely AMAZING!

Our twin boys have attended Gideon Learning Academy twice per week for 3 months now and continue growing, learning and thriving. They never complain - in fact they look forward to their Gideon lessons every single time! We have seen a huge improvement and would like this continue into their First Grade year at the very minimum. Their new 1st grade teacher’s are very impressed as well and we have already received comments just two weeks into school.

If it wasn’t for Neha that day (and every day then) and the amazing team and tutors she has built at Gideon in Prosper, our boys wouldn’t be where they are today.

We are forever grateful and very blessed and couldn’t recommend Gideon enough under Neha’s leadership.

My 5 yrs years old son has been going to Gideon since October last year and we absolutely LOVE the center. We have seen a huge improvement in his reading and maths and his confidence level in his learning. Ms Neha and her team does an AMAZING job in preparing the students for Kindergarten. My son has been going to this tutoring center for a couple of months now and with that short span of time, he has progressed well. Grades are better and he has improved a lot. Ms. Divya and Michelle are the best. Schedules are flexible and never had a hard time to adjust the time even for the last minute especially when something would just come up.

My son has started Gideon around last summer and he has shown lot of improvement overall, especially in his math skills. Ms.Jigna works very well with kids and always ready to listen whatever concerns we have as a parent!

My daughters(9&4) attend Gideon math and reading. We have noticed great improvement. We tried other centers before joining Gideon. My daughter's grades improved dramatically after Gideon. They provide in person help and assign practice to do at home to reinforce the lessons.

My 8th grade son Sean has been with Gideon since the beginning of this year. He enjoys math and his confidence in reading is markedly increasing. His lessons are well planned and structured, allowing for efficient learning. Sean finds Divya kind and helpful, always pushing him to do a little bit more. Switching to online tuition has not made much difference as Divya is able to keep Sean engaged throughout the session. She is experienced, thoughtful and patient, always providing the right supporting material to help my son learn and excel. Under her teaching, Sean has progressed a lot and grasped many techniques so thank you very much! My son's improvements are really noticeable. I confidently recommend Gideon of North Mckinney.

Gideon is a wonderful service that helps students of all ages improve their grades in school as well as their SAT/ACT test scores! Gideon offers tutoring across all subjects, chess club, and supplemental work over the summer. The workers are well-qualified and very patient. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting their child to do well!

Our family has benefited greatly from attending classes here. After about two months I can see that our kids (kindergarten and 2nd grade) have improved their reading and math skills. The lessons that are different than what they are doing in school, which means they aren’t just repeating work they are already doing in their class work, but they are supplementing it. The lessons are individualized to meet your child where they are in their development so you don’t have to worry about your child being challenged or falling behind. I highly recommend this place!! My son started the reading program back in October after being diagnosed with dyslexia. I did not believe the school diagnostic and decided to look up for help here at Gideon. I noticed a change on my son education in just a week. Therefore, it was the best decision I could ever make for my son success. He has improved tremendously from DRA reading level 14 to 29 in just 7 months. According to some educators, this achievemen was not possible but he did it!!!! He also improved his writing skills and mastered other subjects as a second grader.
