Our son currently goes to the Gideon Math and Reading Center in Prosper, and we could not be happier with the experience we have had there.Since our son has started at Gideon we have seen incredible growth in his reading and math skills, as well as added confidence in himself. The owner and staff at this location are very knowledgeable and truly care about the students that come there.I highly recommend Gideon, especially this location, to anyone that wants their child to advance their math and reading skills.

Gideon math and reading learning center is truly a gem in our area! teachers are very knowledgeable and involved. Individualized approach along with various learning styles and adaptations really helped to fill in gaps in my 6th grader’s math and English education. I am very happy to find this school/center! This has helped my girls very much. They are good people and have hired all good tutors. They are always willing to work with the child and willing to always address parents concerns.Divya the owner is very understanding and very helpful.We usually see Sabreen who manages the day to day operations and knows how each child is doing. Sabreen is literally the sweetest person ever, I have seen her be so caring and understanding with so many little kids who come there and sometimes don’t want to work. I enrolled my 6 year old into Gideon for Math, and I can see good improvement. They got a well thought out curriculum that takes your kid through step by step process to learn Math. Our 2 kids have been attending this Gideon location for the past 3 years. They’ve consistently remained strong in their math classes and score high in both STAAR & MAP tests. The daily assignments help to establish the practice and foundation they need to feel confident in math, which can be an intimidating subject for many. Fiona & the staff have been wonderful with keeping track of our kids’ progress. There may be some work involved, but it’s well worth it! Our older son got into the GT program & our daughter (who will test for the GT program this year) is already starting to do Algebra I in the 5th grade! She even helps some of her classmates with math problems. We highly recommend Gideon East Plano!

I’m very happy I decided to enroll my 10 & 8 yr old kids at Gideon Celina. Mrs. Ajitha knows how to help students gain their confidence back. The center is such a positive environment and has had a great influence on my kids. We make sure they do their homework and follow Mrs. Ajitha’s guidance. It’s only been a few months but we already see our kids doing well at school. So much so that the teachers at school asked us about this change! All thanks this center, the Director and her instructors.

My 7 year old daughter has been attending classes here for Math and reading. I noticed a lot of improvement with her after enrolling in to this location. I highly recommend this place. I was skeptical to enroll my son who is on the spectrum at first. We enrolled our 2 little boys (kinder & 1st grade) to this Gideon around a year ago. I saw a lot of improvement in their math and reading because at first i was worried because the teacher told me that he's behind at school. Ms.Divya has been very helpful, sweet and kind to us. Plus she can also be very flexible with the schedules (which i like it so much). It means a lot to me seeing my boys' progress day after day and their excitement to learn math & reading although some days could be challenging. Our experience with Gideon has been top notch! My daughter started last summer before entering 1st grade. She was struggling to keep up with her peers in reading. At the time, she was unable to recognize very simple words and would becomefrustrated easily. She has since made tremendous progress and is now able to read children’s books from start to finish with little to no assistance. My son is in 3 rd grade and started going to Southlake math and reading more than six months ago. He has improved greatly in reading and math skills. Aarti and her team have been phenomenal. Gideon has worked wonders for my 7yr old. He started Gideon at the end of 1st grade and his reading level was a 14. He continued through the summer and when he started 2nd grade he was reading at a level 16. Just yesterday his 2nd grade teacher emailed me and said she decided to test his reading level again and these were her words:"At the beginning of the year, Zee was reading at a DRA level 16, which was just a little below where we hope students are at the beginning of the year and my end of year reading goal for him is to be at a level 28, which would put him right on grade level before he went onto Third Grade. I am BEYOND happy to share with you that Zee was reading at a DRA level 24 this week! I know these numbers do not always mean a whole lot, but reading at a 24 means Zee is now perfectly on grade level and has grown beyond what we would expect for middle of the year progress as well!"THANK YOU GIDEON!! We started sending our son to Gideon as we couldn’t spare any time to my son to help him reading and Maths. After our son going here he improved a lot in reading and maths. This Gideon program is wonderful! Our daughter enrolled in the Reading program for about 3 months and we noticed a big improvement with her reading ability. The activities in this program is interesting that our daughter is willing to study her assignment for 15mins to 20mins daily without complaining. The staffs also very friendly and understanding.

I'm glad to find the North Mckinney Gideon tuition center when we moved to Texas last year. I was worried when we moved here and got to know that the standards are higher than where we moved from. And within 3 months in Gideon, he covered all the topics and he got higher scores in the 7th grade map tests. Gideon Math and Reading in Celina, under the direction and leadership of Ms. Ajitha has been an academic transformation for my son. He was in a prior tutoring program through another company, and it was in some ways very helpful. However, my son's confidence, independence and excel in math and reading was when I transferred him to Gideon. I have been so thoroughly enamored. I do not regret our transition, and I am constantly kept abreast and I have a clear understanding in what he is working on, areas of improvement, and there is support in the process.

Our son wasn’t getting challenged enough in math and was falling behind in reading/comprehension. He’s been going to Gideon twice per month for almost a year and we’ve noticed a huge improvement. He’s in the 3rd grade but his math is at about a 7th grade level and his reading is almost at a 5th grade level. We will definitely continue our routine of twice per month to keep him ahead in school. And he actually loves the challenge he gets at Gideon. This place has been one of the best investments we could have made for our child. The staff is caring and listens to the parents concerns. The groups are kept small so the tutors have the opportunity to work with each child individually. Since we started our child has made significant improvements in both reading and math. They have increased two letter levels for guided reading in just under 2 months. We have also noticed higher fluency and automaticity when recalling math facts. This place is a 10 out of 10, my child loves coming here!

Celina Maths and Gideon is the perfect place I was looking for my kids. The director, Mrs Ajitha is very knowledgeable with the curriculum, kind,patient and listens. We were looking to help our toddler with more advanced reading and math lessons to keep her engaged with school and help her prepare for a placement test to see if she can skip Kindergarten to first grade. She is now able to count up to 500 and do basic addition and subtraction among other things. We’ve been going for about 2 months now and we have been amazed at what our child has learned so far! I highly recommend Gideon in Celina if you’re looking help your child learn the skills to learn faster and at a deeper level and be able to accomplish work independently.

I noticed my daughter was behind on reading when I went to her classroom to volunteer and listened to other kids read. As much as I had practiced with her at home every night , I knew it would not be enough to get her to same level as her classmates. I was referred to the Prosper Gideon by a friend and her recommendation did not steer me wrong. This center is adaptable to schedule , has great tutors that are attentive and progress is made every week with each student. We have been here at Gideon since October 2022 and my daughter has progressed so much . My sons have been going to Gideon Frisco for more than an year and we really love the style of teaching at Gideon. I must say that the Gideon staff is very good and especially Ms Aarti, who is the director @Gideon, is an amazing tutor for my boys! I must say my boys thrive in their math, reading and writing skills because of Gideon and because of Ms Aarti's efforts. She is very patient with kids and she pays utmost attention to the unique needs of each kid. The part I like the most is that instead of sticking to the grade level, Ms Aarti assesses the acquired skills periodically and adjusts her teaching content accordingly which means kids might also get the opportunity to start working on higher grade contents if they are ready. My kids are already ahead compared to their grade level because of Gideon. I will recommend it to anyone who want their kids to have a strong foundation in math, reading, and writing.

The college SAT prep was helpful during the summer, giving him tools to use in all his classes.I appreciate the flexible times and accommodation offered at Prosper Gideon. High school students have busy schedules, but the Gideon Team is alway accommodating to make time for the students. I am also Thankful for communication given to the parents. Weekly, I am given a status update or areas of concern.By far Prosper Gideon has been a great investment for my son’s education.

Back story before we were so blessed to find Gideon in Prosper -In an attempt to keep it short, last year our twin 5 year old boys went through several changes their Kindergarten year and had to switch Elementary schools and Kindergarten teachers 3 times after we sold our home in Frisco, waiting for our new home in Windsong Ranch to be built.We were completely blessed with one of our boys Kindergarten teacher once we move into our forever home - she was absolutely amazing and truly cared for our son’s well-being and advancement. It was obvious and infectious to both our son and to us as parents.Unfortunately, we had several issues with our other son’s Kinder teacher including lack of empathy, communication skills, compassion, etc. which caused a huge shift in his passion to learn, grow and thrive. This absolutely broke our hearts.Fast forward to the same week school ended, my husband and I knew something needed to change and we needed to find a place where both of our boys could continue learning throughout the summer and our sweet son would find his passion to learn, grow and thrive again. We made an appointment at Gideon after one of our friends highly recommended this center and location. We will never forget this day- it was the same evening of the last day of school. We were walking in and our son who had a really poor experience with his last teacher during his Kinder year broke down in tears in the parking lot refusing to go inside for fear his former Kinder teacher would be there telling him what all he did wrong. It was definitely a struggle to get him inside as this was new behavior for him and extremely hard for us to experience. Somehow, we finally managed to get him to go inside and boy did it change our lives forever!Now… insert NEHA!!! I literally cannot even put it into words what she did in just 30 minutes with our son. We were lucky enough to witness this first hand and immediately signed up without hesitation.Neha showed our boys (especially the one who needed it the very most) patience, kindness, compassion, praise, understanding, love and dedication. She was so sweet with him- she knows exactly what she’s doing. She immediately knew what he was missing and zeroed in on it right away.He literally walked out of there a new little boy excited to start this program and we couldn’t be more grateful for Neha that day and every day since then. She is ALWAYS available and in fact she will go out of her way outside work hours to communicate with you on your child’s progress. She is absolutely AMAZING!Our twin boys have attended Gideon Learning Academy twice per week for 3 months now and continue growing, learning and thriving. They never complain - in fact they look forward to their Gideon lessons every single time! We have seen a huge improvement and would like this continue into their First Grade year at the very minimum. So happy I found this place! Neha has helped my middle schooler as well as my older son with SAT prep. She can quickly assess where your child has learning gaps and get them back on track. My son started going to Gideon and noticed the difference right away. Ms. Lisa is very good about getting to know how each child does and matches the appropriate level. She takes the time to understand each student and gets to know them just like a mom knows how they do in reading and math. My child was in kindergartner when he started, we then moved to another state where he attends Basis as a 1st grader and is super ready for the challenge. My kids have attended Southlake Math & Reading for a few years! I’ve noticed a significant difference in their confidence and my daughter even scored mastery on her star exam the first year taking it. Southlake Math & Reading provides a solid foundation to master both reading and math and really sets any kid up for success! I’m always so impressed how fast they go thru math problems and always tell my kids that I wish my parents gave me this same gift! I think of the extra curricular academics as a way to invest in a brighter future, something you truly can put a price on. Also they never fall behind after summer break since we continue all year round. The staff is professional and very knowledgeable, with a 2:1 student to teacher ratio, and know how to engage and make learning fun! The books are in color which makes a difference. The prizes are an added bonus as my kids love going in the center! So glad I found this little gem and would recommend this business to any of my friends!

My daughter improved in math and reading a lot

This is hands down the absolute best tutoring program I have ever been a part of!!! The owner is so kind and she cares about each child. She makes sure each child has a fully customized experience and ensures the learning is tailored to exactly what each child needs. I had all three of my children in the program. The daily booklets they were given gave them plenty of practice and helped them lock in all of the materials. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who wants to see their children grow academically.

We are so happy with Gideon and its staff. My 5 year old was a non reader when she started 5 months ago and now she can read and write 3 and 4 letters words easily. Her math has also been improving and her counting is amazing. She was very well prepared when she started first grade this year. I would definitely recommend Gideon to all parents.

We have been exceptionally happy with Gideon- my son needed extra math help and fact practice after remote learning, and Jigna and her team have done a wonderful job of motivating and improving his scores. I also appreciate that this removed the need for me to nag him to do it at home- he does much better when outside-accountable and we are both less stressed. My 11 years old son started Gideon with Ms Jigna when we moved here. He was about 1-1.5 years behind the grade level on Reading when he started. It’s been 1.5 years, then he got the score of “MASTERS grade level” at his 5th grade STAAR test!!! We are more than happy with Ms Jigna and our younger son continues with her while he is in the elementary school.

I highly recommend this program. It can help a child get caught up or help a child who already does well to excel even further. We like the structure of the program in that it lets them practice on their own and then provides help during the tutoring on the parts they are struggling with. Game changer!!The pandemic and home schooling was tough on my son. He wasn't learning math very well and his confidence and his overall self esteem suffered. Taking him to Gideon was a game changer! When he went back to school this year, he didn't score well on his MAPP test (October 2021). However, the test showed that since he started Gideon in April 2021, he had already improved a whole school year's worth of skill. Now he is on level for his grade and on the way to finishing this year above level in his Math scores. His confidence has soared and he believes in himself again. Nothing is worse than watching your child suffer, but watching them succeed is beyond rewarding! Ms. Tez and all of the staff at Gideon are amazing with the kids. I am also a student at Gideon Math and Reading Center. They know what level you are at depending on your placement test and it helps you memorize your multiplication tables. My grades are also improving with Gideon as I am memorizing more multiplication facts and getting better with reading. I would recommend this place for kids, also mentioning you get prizes when you finish a booklet which motivates kids to work even harder.

We started attending Gideon in April 2021 to improve reading skills for our son who showed little interest in Kinder and First Grade. Since attending Gideon, not only is he an avid reader, he scored in the 90th percentile in our most recent school administered assessment, far exceeding his performance on previously administered school assessments. We started our daughter a few months later to encourage her math methodology and she has continued to excel in Math this year. Both children had different needs and Tez Reventar was absolutely the BEST at identifying what those needs were. This location is well run: professional, prompt response to parent inquiries, and most importantly - the tutors balance nudging the children along to success while keeping the tone positive and encouraging!I had concerns that my children were behind in math because of the disruption in their education during COVID. I did not want the summer slump to further degrade their math skills. I discussed my concerns with Ms. Fiona (the owner and director) and we discussed what Gideon could do to help my children. In just a month, they have improved their mastery of math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication - the ABCs of Math) and learned how to better tackle word problems. My children are less anxious when it comes to math homework and school assessments and my son's teacher at school told him that he has greatly improved on his multiplication. Our family has benefited greatly from attending classes here. After about two months I can see that our kids (kindergarten and 2nd grade) have improved their reading and math skills. The lessons that are different than what they are doing in school, which means they aren’t just repeating work they are already doing in their class work, but they are supplementing it. The lessons are individualized to meet your child where they are in their development so you don’t have to worry about your child being challenged or falling behind. My daughter has been attending classes at the Coppell center for a year, and we are so pleased with her progress!! In a few short months she has begun to read. The curricula is very well-developed and progresses in a systematic manner. The mastery learning is difficult at first, but I appreciate the high standards because it makes everything easier down the line. My daughter does her daily work, approximately 20-30 minutes a day, and looks forward to her class at the Coppell center. We added math and love the adorable pictures (in the books) and introduction to numbers and basic math concepts. I am happy to recommend the Gideon program to anyone!

Excellent, excellent place. Instructors are wonderful and very patient. Very clean place too, which was important. I'd highly recommend them. The owner is a wonderful lady and absolutely loves kids, which, of course, is kind of important!

My child has been enrolled at Gideon Frisco for past 18 months. I have seen great improvement with his reading and math skills. The ratios are low and teachers take their time to help each student. As parents, we receive feedback after each class and also regular conferences to monitor the progress.

The director at the Coppell Gideon Math and Reading Center is involved in every child's programming and development. My son has made tremendous strides over the past few months, and he has made advances in his educational performance despite a learning disability. He is more confident, and the design of the Gideon program adheres to his personal needs. Highly recommend Wendy C and her staff!!!

Gideon’s staff scheduled and completed a meeting with my daughter’s school teacher (at the school) to review areas of concerns and ways to enhance other areas.My daughter’s reading skills quickly improved base on the detailed analysis from Gideon.The environment is great and my daughter looks forward for her tutoring sessions. We enrolled our 4th grader last year at Gideon and have seen major improvements in her math skills. Her STAAR test scores prove the advancement made last year. Aarti and her staff are great to work with. They are always there to help out kids and provide regular feedback to parents.

I highly recommend this place!! My son started the reading program back in October after being diagnosed with dyslexia. I did not believe the school diagnostic and decided to look up for help here at Gideon. I noticed a change on my son education in just a week. Therefore, it was the best decision I could ever make for my son success. He has improved tremendously from DRA reading level 14 to 29 in just 7 months. According to some educators, this achievemen was not possible but he did it!!!! He also improved his writing skills and mastered other subjects as a second grader.Gideon has a very efficient and productive curriculum. Mrs. Wendy and her staff are super friendly and helpful.I will forever be grateful to Gideon because they revolutionary my son's education and self esteem!!! We were looking to get a head start for our 3.5 year old in math and reading through one on one sessions. We met with Aarti and she instantly understood what we wanted and prepped a plan. Our daughter is now 4 and is counting to 500 and doing addition. I highly recommend this location, mainly because the director truly cares about the children and the academic results.

We have been going to Gideon close to a year now. My main reason for getting supplemental math and reading help for my 10 and 7 year old is that me and my husband are not very effective teachers or tutors and we know that. Gideon has helped keep study times at home peaceful because the kids are not struggling with math and reading concepts. Gideon follows a focused program that helps kids with the foundations for math and reading that they usually breeze through in school. Over the past months, both kids have improved in school and has boosted their confidence as a result. Ms. Arati, the owner makes an effort to tailor the program to the child. Her entire staff is wonderful with kids. My kids are quick to complain if they are not comfortable in a place but they are always happy to go to Gideon. If my 14 year-old was not already so busy, she would also be going here too just to keep on top of her math.

It's been about 5 months since my daughter started going to Gideon. I can see a huge growth in her math as well as reading skills. I really appreciate Ms.Aarti and her team for building my child's confidence. She loves going to Gideon. I highly recommend this place.

My daughter started at Gideon 6 mos ago and I am so happy with her overall progress. In her preschool, she really didn't learn much. But within 6 mos, she can read all the step 1 reading books, learnt how to form sentences, and her math skills have improved so much. She's doing really great in Kindergarten compared to all other students. I love the overall structure, curriculum, and material offered at Gideon. I specially like the Preston center run by Arti since she's always on the floor answering questions or any concerns that we have. Love all the staff too. My daughter is very comfortable working with them and the staff really encourages her.Thanks a Bunch!!

Our 6 year old has been going to this Gideon center for last 8 months. During these 8 months we have seen great progress in her Maths and Reading skills. This Gideon center is run very professionally and uses all appropriate Gideon learning materials. Our daughter used to go to another Gideon center in Frisco which used non-Gideon materials, which we were not happy about. But at this center, the director is personally involved and is always available at the center. The student to teacher ratio is also very good and the teachers are very friendly. There are times when the kids take more than 45 min allocated time, but the teachers are patient and help the kids finish their entire work section - even if it means spending more than allocated 45 min.Thank you Gideon and the wonderful staff at this center.

I used to attend Kumon, and I previously worked at another tutoring center; however, in comparison to the tow, Gideon has proved to be different than the other two centers. While Kumon and other tutoring centers attempt to teach students the material they are learning in school, which is beneficial short term, Gideon is providing its students a fundamental foundation in math and reading that will help them both in the short and long term in school. By working at Gideon, I have seen many improvements in many of the students. Initially, as most students are, they will struggle and move slowly, I know I did when I had trouble in school, but as Gideon builds upon their mastery in a topic, the work gets done quickly and is thoroughly done with detail and the students actually understand what they are learning. If any parent wants their student to catch up in school, or get ahead, Gideon is a wonderful place to take them because the students actually enjoy their time there as well. The students have the chance to work all the instructors, which exposes them to the fact that every teacher has a different method, but it truly depends on the student how they decide how to utilize the information the instructor provides them.

My son has been going to Gideon for the past 3 months and there is already a noticeable improvement in his mental math abilities which his teacher as well as the parents of other kids in his class have commented on while playing math related games. Gideon ensures that kids get regular practice during the week which gives them the confidence to solve problems.

My 4 year old daughter has been going to the Gideon in Central Frisco ever since it opened and we are very happy with the progress made by her. Classes are twice a week and I’m pleasantly surprised that she looks forward to go there every time! She used to go to a different Gideon and we noticed a few things which set this place apart from the previous one:- The quality and timeliness of the feedback we received on the progress of our daughter personally by Ms. Aarthi, the owner and a teacher herself, was invaluable. She’s on the floor every day personally supervising all the students and tutors. I think her experience as a teacher for public and private schools for many years factors into this aspect.- The student to tutor ratio is 3:1 or less which is a step up from the previous place and the student area is quite spacious as well.- My daughter loves the small rewards she gets for passing tests and the effort she puts in which is positive reinforcement and quite motivating for her.- The tutors seem to be quite competent and friendly. My daughter loves working with them on her lessons every time.I believe this place is well organized and well run by a motivated owner and staff. Highly recommended!
