Math OR Reading: $180

Math AND Reading: $299

Registration Fee: $75/student

There are no long-term contracts, only month to month.

FAQs

At what age can my student start attending?
  • We work with students aged four and up who are able to focus for 10-15 minutes.
How many times a week will my student come to the center and for how long is each visit?
  • Most students attend twice a week for center visits and complete Gideon assignments at home the other days. However, you can come once a week or request extra classes for an additional fee.
  • Each center visit is typically 30 minutes per subject to do individual daily assignments, complete any old corrections, and review new material. A Gideon instructor will be at the table with the students to assist as needed. Most students will be seated with a 3:1 student to teacher ratio.
What level of work will my student be doing?
  • During the free placement evaluation, we will find a ‘just right’ point in the Gideon curriculum based on what skills your student shows as mastered in order to fill any holes and gaps in his foundation.   • Our goal is to build confidence through mastery with progress right from the start to encourage focus and concentration.
Does Gideon work with students with learning differences such as dyslexia?
  • Yes, the Gideon program works well for most students, including those with learning differences. While school must continue on its schedule, we have the luxury of time to allow the student to set the pace and do any extra practice needed to truly master each level. If your student has dyslexia, read THIS to find out why Gideon is a good solution.
Does Gideon work with students with special needs such as autism?
  • Yes, the Gideon program works with many special needs students. We can evaluate further if Gideon is a good fit when we meet your student during the free placement evaluation.

Gideon is a fantastic environment where kids can learn how to use strategies that work for them in both Math & Reading. The instructors are very patient with the kiddos and will take their time to help the kids understand and learn the concept. Ms. Ajitha is also very helpful when it comes to the progress of the students. Thanks to Gideon, my child's grade has grown exponentially when it comes to Math and problem solving. She is also more comfortable making reasonable solutions to problems in school as well. We are very grateful that she able to to go to Gideon.

Absolutely recommend Gideon Math and Reading Celina! I’ve had my son at Gideon Celina for about 5 months and have not only seen such a drastic increase in his math knowledge but he is helping other kids in his class with math!!! I love the fact that they explain math problems that he has difficulty with, everything is explained to him until he is able to do it on his own! So thankful for Gideon! We started sending our son to Gideon as we couldn’t spare any time to my son to help him reading and Maths. After our son going here he improved a lot in reading and maths. Now he is reading independently without any help and doing good in math. The tutors are giving personal attention for kids while they are at center to help kids.

I’m very happy I decided to enroll my 10 & 8 yr old kids at Gideon Celina. Mrs. Ajitha knows how to help students gain their confidence back. The center is such a positive environment and has had a great influence on my kids. We make sure they do their homework and follow Mrs. Ajitha’s guidance. It’s only been a few months but we already see our kids doing well at school. So much so that the teachers at school asked us about this change! Gideon Math and Reading in Celina, under the direction and leadership of Ms. Ajitha has been an academic transformation for my son. He was in a prior tutoring program through another company, and it was in some ways very helpful. However, my son's confidence, independence and excel in math and reading was when I transferred him to Gideon. I have been so thoroughly enamored. I do not regret our transition, and I am constantly kept abreast and I have a clear understanding in what he is working on, areas of improvement, and there is support in the process.

I am glad we enrolled our kid at Gideon Celina, there has been a significant amount of progress in math and reading within a month. Ajitha is really great in welcoming the kids and getting them to be comfortable. She ensures the goals are met consistently and also provides a timely update. Our little one loves to read and do math with literally no compulsion which is a huge win win for all of us! The style of teaching is great! If you want your kids to be ahead of their level, I highly recommend this center. They pay attention to detail and provide constructive feedback. We were looking to help our toddler with more advanced reading and math lessons to keep her engaged with school and help her prepare for a placement test to see if she can skip Kindergarten to first grade. She is now able to count up to 500 and do basic addition and subtraction among other things. We’ve been going for about 2 months now and we have been amazed at what our child has learned so far! I highly recommend Gideon in Celina if you’re looking help your child learn the skills to learn faster and at a deeper level and be able to accomplish work independently.

Meet Ajitha, owner and director of Gideon Math and Reading Center in Celina, TX! A proud graduate with a business degree, Ajitha is dedicated to providing the best math and reading programs in Celina. Ajitha has experience in IT project management with the Defense Department and knows the importance of building solid math and reading foundations. She has taken her passion for education and poured it into her learning center in Celina. She and her husband, Prashanth, have two children who are both enrolled in the Gideon program.

Unlock the potential of your child through our individualized math tutoring in Celina. The Gideon Math program is tailored to build confidence by improving your child’s math skills step by step. With our systematic phonics in the Gideon Reading program, your child will learn to read and build literacy skills. Our reading tutoring in Celina also improves comprehension and grammar. Gideon programs are designed to make school easy and go beyond grade level. We also provide special needs tutoring in Celina and work with a variety of students, including autistic.
